Who We Are

Dana grew up in Orange County, California, and was raised caring for animals.  Terry grew up in Los Angeles and, in contrast, only owned a cat, yet over 35 years ago, together they purchased land in Temecula and began taking in various formerly unwanted animals.  What started with 2 rescued dogs, a pet rat and 2 birds, expanded as they saved horses, goats, potbellied pigs, farm pigs, sheep, llamas, donkeys, birds, chickens, and laboratory mice, pigs and rabbits.  What was once just a loving, forever home to several animals, has turned into a peaceful, heavenly sanctuary for many rescued animals who are now able to live out their lives surrounded by security, care and love.
